One Week to Go

In just over a weeks time the author will be revisiting Hunterville, lower North Island, New Zealand. It's almost 18 months since I last passed through Hunterville and told some of the locals that I'd be writing a fictional novel about 'their town'. It's likely that very few (if any) people in Hunterville know this novel has now been written and even published. I'm both excited and nervous to tell them. There's 2 or 3 persons I'd like to gift an "author's complimentary copy" of my novel to. Watch this space for a before and after and what kind of a reception I receive. !! Is the old macrocarpa tree by the Hunterville Cemetery still there? It had better be !!
